Around the Erie, Pa. area it’s been $1.999/gallon for about a week. With the Giant Eagle fuel discount I paid $1.799 a gallon. ---

Anyway, for it to have the feared effect on environmental efforts and such, prices would have to stay really low for a significant amount of time, and I honestly don’t see this lasting long enough for that to happen. ---

$1.79/gal at my regular station yesterday. It’s down to $1.73/gal a couple towns away. (I’m not complaining, but…) This is very confusing to me. I thought for sure six months ago we’d be at $6-7/gal by this time. I filled my tank for $25, whereas back in June it cost $60. The Illuminati must have decided the oil companies got enough money for now and retail needs a boost or something. ---

You can get gas for a low as $1.59 here. I filled up earlier in the week at $1.67 for regular unleaded, premium unleaded however was at $2.53. 😕 Go figure. ---

My local had it for 1.83 today. I suspect if I looked I might find it a little less somewhere, but driving there wouldn’t be worth it. ---
