Probably shouldn’t bump this for such a mediocre…
This film was way, way overrated. The acting was fine (Kevin Spacey never disappoints). But it was a pooly directed film. You never got the sense that “pay it forward” turned into anything but a class assignment, and the director tried too hard to pull on heart strings.
Saw it openeing night at 8PM. No line, and half the theater was empty (in L.A). Don’t think it’s going to do that well.
