Today, I saw a Cartoon Character. I was sitting at an intersection, on my way home from the lab, & glanced at the car on my left. There she was. Kari ! The Babysitter from _The Incredibles_! Huge braces, hairdo, exposed gums, disproportionately sized head. BUT AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING! _ **My jaw dropped! My eyes goggled!** _ She even had the same mannerisms! EEP! Have any Dopers (besides myself) ever seen a living, breathing Toon? ---

I used to work with a guy who looked just like Homer Simpson. Thank goodness he didn’t act like him. ---

We had a dead ringer for Fred Flintstone, it was amazing. He could have put of a Fred Flintstone costume and looked much closer than John Goodman. ---

There was a guy I worked with in Ohio who looked just like Gollum from the movie. I hate to mention it, **Bosda** , but perhaps it was a Halloween dress rehersal. 'Tis the season, after all. ---

Re the opening post, wher I live there’s a prominent local businessman who is a dead, dead ringer for Bob Parr, aka Mr. Incredible. Blond quiff, lantern jaw, same barrell figure… Its just uncanny. ---

I used to have a client who looked SO much like Peter Griffin ( **Family Guy** ) that it was eeirie~~~plus it made it difficult to concentrate sometimes in sessions. Hardest part was, it was a _female_ client. ---

I was in a computer seminar in N’Awlins once, and one of my classmates looked exactly like Bevis from Beavis & Butthead. Uncanny. ---

I don’t know if this counts, but I used to work with a guy who, when people would come into the office and meet him, they would kind of do a little double take, and I would looke over at Sue and go, under my breath, “Me-me-me-me-me-me-me!” This guy was a freakish double for Beaker from the Muppet Show. I also worked for a guy last year who looked WAY too much like Mr. Incredible. Ex-college football player, blond, with a gut, and that blocky head. But exactly. We should hook him up with the OP’s babysitter. ---

My old English professor was a dead ringer for Ned Flanders. Even the voice was similar, though without the religious aphorisms or “diddly”-talk. ---

The secretary in my department looks like a realistically-drawn anime character (no specific one). Her lower jaw and face has the proper anime shape (as seen [here](http://animeworld.com/howtodraw/largefaces1.jpg) and her eyes are the largest ones I have ever seen on a human being. When I first saw her, my first thought was “I have met the living anime woman.” ---

I had to deal with a high schooler once that looked a lot like that dopey buzzard from Looney Toons. This wouldn’t have been so bad except that he was also incredibly annoying. So, being the mature college students that we were, one of us always did that little musical sting every time he walked by. ---
