# I saw the oddest billboard this morning

I thought maybe the freaky fringe of the right-to-life movement had found a medical text referring to miscarriages as spontaneous abortions and had decided it was time to do something about it.

I used to see a weird one on my commute. It was an ad for ‘The Simpsons’, it said something like “Connect With The Simpsons, channel 29 at 7:00pm!” or something like that. What was weird was that it had a picture of Bart Simpson with like a sheepish or embarrassed look on his face. I could never figure out why that expression was on his face.

The March of Dimes is decidedly neutral on the subject of abortion. Honestly, it’s out of their scope. Their concern is every baby should be born full-term, a good birth weight, and healthy.
