…and shook hands with him. He was a visitor from Brazil. He was 2.1 metres tall–6’10.5". When we were both standing, my eyes were at his armpit level, and I am not short. I’m 1.76 metres, or 5’9ish". ---

2.1 metres tall (6’10.5") actually seems a bit short for a city the size of Toronto. I would think there’d be at least one person on the Raptors who’d be taller. (BTW, this Brazilian guy you mention doesn’t play for the Raptors does he?) ---

_bump_ I was thinking about this last week, when I was waiting at Queen station and I could see over the tops of the heads of 90% of the people on the platform. What must it be like for him? **NDP** , he was an IT person in town for work. ---

[/QUOTE] [NBA.com](http://www.nba.com/raptors/roster/) says that they have two players that stand 6’10" and two more at 7’0". ---

There’s a guy I know through rock climbing in Toronto. He’s 6’10 and has met taller people in the city. He’s very muscular though, so I never think he actually looks that tall until I’m standing next to him. I keep thinking that if he was really thin he’d look taller.
