Oh, and I’m 31. And I was trying to get my 17 year old boyfriend to shave his pits when I was 14. ---

A guy I talked to online a few years ago blurted out in the start of an IM session that he had shaved his pubic area. He joyfully announced that his scrotal-testicular fun zone felt like Jell-O. I was turned off of non-facial shaving at that moment since he had to compare the results to the one dessert that makes me convulse in disgust. I suppose now, I’d be willing to shave everything at least once for my girlfriend (if I had one). Wouldn’t bother me since she’d be the only one to see most of it. Can’t guarantee that I’d enjoy it, but I’d give it a whirl. Considering the number of people in here who like hairless men, I give I need to stand on a street corner with a sign that says “Will Shave For Love And Lasting Relationship!” ---

have to say i’d find shaven pits on a guy a bit odd. but whatever makes you happy. my personal philosophy with guys is that i prefer them they way they’re made, hairy is good if they’re hairy, if they aren’t that’s fine too. the WORST thing is a guy with stubble somewhere. ew. ---

Good lord, if I shaved all the hairy bits I’d be in the bathroom for HOURS. I’m not one of those hairy-backed rug-chested guys either! I’ll keep what I have thank you very much; I’ve read the threads about shaving your ass and they’re quite the cautionary tales 😉 ---

Having worked & trained alongside male bodybuilders in the past, the idea of men removing their body hair seems commonplace to me. Most of the guyz I knew prefered to be waxed rather than shaving. OH is not a bodybuilder & doesn’t de fuzz but then he’s not a particularly hairy gentleman. On the whole men removing their body hair, or not doesn’t really have an impact on me. ---

My ex-husband used clippers for his body hair. He wasn’t too hairy, but he liked to be extremely clean. The clippers were the same kind the barbers use for haircuts. He did his armpits and leg hairs, and “other” areas. This helped him avoid the itching of regrowth and kept the hair pretty short. He loved it. FTR, I loved it too. Body hair makes it harder to stay fresh. ---

I really prefer a man to have minimal body hair. I **only** have (noticable) hair on my head, and I enjoy being with men who are the same. ---

I’m used to a little pit and chest hair on guys. I think I could easily get used to shaved pits though, since I’ve always been a little disturbed by the concept of putting deodorant on top of a thicket of pit hair, and how all that worked out. Some trimming down south is definitely nice, but please keep the leg hair! ---

Really. My mother claims that she doesn’t mind shaving her pits on hygienic grounds. In that case, shouldn’t everybody? I don’t mind the pits either. The legs are another story. Grrrrrr… ---

My legs are temporarily hairy - I can’t shave them and I really don’t feel like waxing right now - and my arms have some shortish hairs on them. I’ve ordered an epilator and I’m currently waiting for that to arrive before I do any serious hair removal, mostly due to simple laziness - no one is likely to see anywhere that it will be noticable before it arrives, and it’s not at the unmanagable stage yet. Armpits however, are shaven. This is not something I allow to lapse. Armpit hair is really unpleasant.
