Looks fine. I used to shave my head every now and then when I was in the military, too. Just remember to wear a hat when outdoors, or barring that rub some sunscreen on your scalp. ---

On a related note why do people who shave their heads seem to look bigger?, I have a friend who is basically a wimp and he shaved his head and the photos online make him look bigger with the shaved head. ---

Less hair = smaller head = relatively bigger body, especially around the shoulders. ---

But it really seems to make some peoples heads look a lot bigger if anything. I guess cause its just weird to see all the parts the hair normally covers ---

It sucks that I can’t shave my head, much as I’d like to. Unfortunately, in the last two years I have come down with psoriasis, not unexpectedly, since my mother (and recently deceased grandmother) both have it. That played hell with me getting my smallpox inoculation, since that is a big time risk factor for infection. If I were to shave my head I’d be exposing a whole boatload of lesions, and somehow I don’t think that would fly. However, I do keep it very, very short. When I go to the barber I get the ol’ Number 1 haircut all the way around. ---

Alright, those of you who insisted on a smiling picture, [this is the best I could do.](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v496/TentacleMonster/smile_you_bastard.jpg) To be honest, I thought I did it right; and all the circumstances were favorable. There I was in Las Vegas, mere hours from seeing Jimmy Buffett in concert (my first _real concert_, no less), with friends and family around. Our host is well connected in Vegas, and he gets all kinds of comps and other benefits (he’s got five TV’s with five satellite connections in his living room, just so he can watch all the games. You can see three of 'em in the picture.) I’ve never seen my mother so excited over anything in her life. She gets a picture of me with her superior Sony CD Mavica camera, and I’m feeling genuinely happy and give her what I think is the most winningest smile ever. Then I get home, load the picture onto my machine, open it up to chop down to Photobucket size, and think “Jesus Christ, that’s a fake-looking smile.” ---

But I think it’s because of the sunglasses. If I look through the sunglasses at your eyes, the smile becomes much, much more authentic. ---

Personally, I think bald heads are sexy. Lookin’ good **Tentacle Monster**! I’m with ya on the smile. Somebody points a camera at me and says smile and I come out looking like a cross between “I gotta go pee!” and “Here I am, standing here with this doofus look on my face.” ---
