All because you had to go pee, Bosda. Think about that!

😉

Well, it worked, didn’t it? You didn’t get electrocuted!

Sympathies to you and to all the other toe-busters. I’ve been trying to join your ranks for many years, being one of the clumsiest people I know. My efforts have been along the lines of catching the toe on a part of the furniture in such a way as to attempt to rip it away from the main part of the foot. So far I have failed. That’s probably a good thing, because having one foot wider than the other would make shoe-buying even more of a challenge than it is already. Of course I could do the same to the other foot but somehow I suspect the pain from the first one would make me chicken out :p.

That said, I did manage to shatter one of the metatarsals in the foot itself, in an ill-advised disagreement with a flight of stairs. I thought there were 3 steps left, it insisted there were 4. I lost. It was eye-openingly painful.

Because of this, I lift my toes up when I walk barefoot. This way, if I hit something, my toes get pushed up and it hits the ball of my foot instead. I wonder if anyone else will find this useful.
