Hamas can end this at any time by accepting that “generous” peace proposal- and all they had to do was give back the hostages. They didnt have to surrender. They didnt have to pay for their atrocities. Just give back the hostages- and in return Israel was even willing to let a bunch of Palestinians go free from prison. But NOOOO!- they had to say “well, we will give back a bunch of dead hostages”. _The war could end tomorrow- all Hamas has to do is release the hostages. And that is a very reasonable thing to ask._ Think about WW2- instead of unconditional surrender- if all the Allies would ask is all their POWs back- and they would return their POWs also. No surrender. No war crimes trials, nothing. ---

Just to be **very** clear - if by “stolen lands” you mean _the settlements_, then yes, those need to go away as part of a peace deal that also establishes Palestine as a state. If you mean Israel _proper_, grow up. That’s not happening. Neither is a “rIgHt” of return. If you go look at groups like SJP’s own writings, they are talking about the latter, which is why I do not and never will support them (as explained by the Palestinian activist I linked earlier). ---
