# I swear I saw this movie

On T.V. in the early '80s. A retarded girl runs away from the home of her rich, repressive parents. She ends up in New Orleans with a one legged bum. It was a love story.  
Not only does no one I know remember this movie, all my friends think I’m out of my mind. I’m beginning to believe them. Do you remember things that no one else remembers?
