I admit I didn’t see either of those IMHO threads… but I’ll note that both died pretty much as soon as it was pointed out that there was a GD thread. ---

Well, now that it’s been pointed out which sandbox you can pee in and which sandbox your castles get kicked over in, maybe you should try to revive those IMHO threads. You know, a couple years ago I think I would have argued that Scalia was an intelligent but morally reprehensible man, and yet not a troll. But after the whole “don’t obligate yourself to that” there’s just no way he’s NOT a troll. Really Justice Scalia? Don’t obligate ourselves to treating people for life threatening conditions in the ER without making sure they can pay for everything ahead of time? REALLY? That’s a troll statement right there. There is absolutely no defense for it. ---
