So, the galaxy is what…100,000 light-years across? That comes out to oh, about 946 quadrillion kilometers. I can’t even conceive of such a distance; I doubt that anyone can. It’s just so far beyond huge that the human mind just can’t contain the magnitude of it. And there are an estimated 125 billion galaxies in the universe, more than 20 for every man, woman and child on Earth. Now, you expect me to believe that a being capable of creating all of this through _sheer force of will_ actually gives a rat’s ass whether or not two men have sex with each other? Pull the other one, it’s got bells on. ---

Howdydo and Blessed Be, Ivylass. 🙂 I’m not actually a Wiccan. Call me a heathen, I like that one. Or I’m sort of a solitary. I was a pagan before puberty, I went to Catholic school right afterward (Mass was a really great part of my life, go figure. I guess I get off on ritual). I experienced rapture in college – and believe you me, once you’ve experienced the trueness of love for all the world and all of mankind, that’s the most addictive drug in the universe. So what I really am is a seeker. I can’t call myself a Christian for various and sundry reasons. I don’t give a good god-damn for what anyone is, as long as they aren’t hurting folks. Love of the Eternal and of your fellow man is the truest faith there is, in my happy opinion, and however any person wants to approach that love, whether it’s from the Truth or the Joy perspective, that’s their own business, not mine. After all, one of the most wonderful men I’ve ever known is a Christian…or, well, he was for a time before people like H4E and DrC drove him away from the God he loved so dearly. No lie. Until peoples’ faith systems start turning into rampant mad horrible hatred, that is. ---
