Stuck in traffic the other day and noticed that the plate for the car ahead of me was «### LHD». My immediate thought: «Wonder how **Left Hand of Dorkness** is doing?» I may need a wider IRL social circle. 😃 ---

I also have these real life moments when I’m reminded of the Dope. I remember one early morning texting with my Doper friend **The Butterfly’s Ghost** , making a blunder and posting _needs coffee_, and she immediately answered “That’s a Doper’s name!” :D. ---

Heck, I often recall **Northen Piper** , when the local firefighters’ pipe and drum band practices in the back room of the sports bar. After all, we _are_ a northern country, and they _are_ pipers, so… 😉
