What is with all these double posts I seem to be having lately? I press the submit button only once, I swear! Then the reply page times out, so I refresh itā€¦ presto! A double post! Weirdā€¦ ---

Do not fret, **Flamsterre\_X**. The pain is under control right now, although it was excruciating earlier, and Iā€™ll have to miss at least one day of work at a really bad time to take sick days. Like I said, weā€™re all under the gun and I need to be back at work on Monday. However, a doctorā€™s note is a doctorā€™s note. If he wants me to stay off work for four days, then Iā€™ll do it. That means tomorrow and this weekend. I have to be back at work on Monday because there are things to do that ony I can do. As I said, my manager told me today to just get to the E.R., and not to worry about work. What bugs ne is that Iā€™m the resident expert in FrameMaker, Iā€™ve prepared a style guide for our translators, and they might need it Monday. In most other cases where I work, it wouldnā€™t matter this much, but for reasons I canā€™t get into (non-disclosure agreement), I have to ā€œbe there.ā€ - s.e. ---

I just woke up from my (legal) drug-induced stupor, and am now in infomercial hell. I canā€™t find my bloody glasses, so Iā€™m pretty much blind. Ugh. But the pain is halfway gone, though it still sometimes feels like somethingā€™s sticking out of my back. Anyway, itā€™s bearable, at least now. - s.e.
