It’s all in who delivers the line and how they do it. The worst line in the world can be cute (and perhaps effective) if the delivery and deliverer are the right guy. 😃 ---

It might also help if they’ve built up even the slightest rapport with the girl, even if they first said a cheesy joke (as opposed to pick-up line). Having the guy say a “cute” joke, with a nice smile and some eye contact, will make even the most scumbaggish of pick-up lines sound slightly more endearing. ---
