The more you practice and prepare, the easier it is to deal with. Just my opinion. I had to give a speech a few weeks back in front of about 100 people ( most of them sober. Sober people are the worst.). The MC thanked everyone I was going to thank and took all my stuff.The bastard. I just completely and totally flopped. Standing there in my formal, killer fuckme pumps and my cheezy looking tiara. I went blank. ( I blame three different fat containment devices.) So I thanked my husband and wished everyone a good night. And then someone shouted _Turn the Microphone on…no one can here you!_. I don’t suffer from nightmares replaying that scene…nope. Not.at.all. It could be worse. You could have to wear a tiara and control top panty hose.
