I couldn’t think of her name, but I googled “perky food network host” got it. Rachael Ray. Annoyingly perky, but I find her annoying perkiness strangely seductive. When I watch her move around her TV kitchen I always end up singing the ZZ Tops lyrics, “She’s got leeeeegs…” That girl is toned up and fine. OTOH, I know guys who run screaming at the mere mention of her name. ---

I always thought Jennifer Connelly was absolutely stunningly gorgeous, the most beautiful actress there was. She was a complete knockout in \*The Rocketeer \* and _Career Opportunities_; a perfect ten. Unfortunately, she’s lost so much weight in recent years (as seen in movies like _The Hulk_), she’s still lovely, but not as perfect as when she was curvier. ---

My current crush is on the Chevy commercial they’re running about what great mileage their line gets. The one at the end that promises me that they take good gas mileage as seriously as I do - in the bluish turtleneck? I believe her. Of course, that’s not going to get me to buy a Chevy, but I do believe her. ---

Y’know that tall handsome black guy that hawks Allstate (or similar) insurance? I just love him. He just looks like he could burst into some Shakespearean Nonsense at the drop of a hat. (And I don’t even particularly like Shakespeare. But this guy, whomever he is,looks like he could handle any role thrown at him.) ---

I’m in love with Audrey Hepburn (even the frumpy version, à la Funny Face, that I find, for some reason, even more alluring than Glam Audrey). Yes, it does bother me a little that she is dead, but only when I’m sober. ---

I’m currently in love with Myrna Loy. I’ve been watching the Thin Man movies again, and I’m just struck with how beautiful she was. Also, the redhead on the Dr Pepper ad who tried to take her boyfriend’s Dr Pepper. He ran away down the street to the strains of “I Would Do Anything for Love” by Meatloaf.
