Yep, Jim has the right of it. It’s Abilene. It’s three hours to Dallas, or three and a half hours to Austin. Thanks for the ride offer Jim, and while I’d like to join you, it’s almost the same distance to D/FW as it is to Austin, so it would just about double the commute. I’ll see ya there, though. ---

God Damnit **Lightnin’** , and I though my life was nothing but one bad time flub after another. Thanks for prompting us to get together, nonetheless, and I hope you haev a good time at the party. You best make sure that little critter likes you with what you’re giving up (unless you really hate us, in which case, good ploy). If the party doesn’t go that late (she’s one, how late can she stay up?) the Flametrick Subs are going to be playing at the Hard Rock Cafe downtown later on in the evening. It may be too late for us to go straight from the Dopefest to the show (I believe it’s 10:00-ish), but for those of you who have nothing better to do in the evening, it’d be something to do. Did I metion the Satan’s Cheerleaders will be there? Cute, tattooed, curvacious women in pleather cheerleading uniforms, need I say more? 🙂 ---
