Since I went back to med school in May, my music listening has slumped big time. Here’s my list

1. Sufjan Stevens _Illinois_
2. The Decemberists _Picaresque_
3. Bloc Party _Silent Alarm_
4. Sigur Ros _Takk…_
5. Bright Eyes _I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning_ and the other one whose name escapes me.
6. Deerhoof _The Runners Four_
7. Steve Malkmus _Face the Truth_
8. Beck _Guero_

Other notables: Stereolab’s compilation, Belle & Sebastian’s compilation, Architecture in Helsinki, British Sea Power, I’ve heard some of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and it was good, Shout Out Louds, also Shout Out Louds and White Stripes. Aimee Mann, Mars Volta, and Death Cab for Cutie were disappointing.
