I think it's time to start thinking about those "Best CDs of 2005" lists...

Yeah, that Weezer album sucked.

It still didn’t stop me from seeing them three times this year. :wally

To go on with my list from before,

The Next Ten Best Albums Of The Year (11-20)

  1. Beck - Guero
  2. Gorillaz - Demon Days
  3. The Most Serene Republic - Underwater Cinematographer

Since I went back to med school in May, my music listening has slumped big time. Here’s my list

  1. Sufjan Stevens Illinois
  2. The Decemberists Picaresque
  3. Bloc Party Silent Alarm
  4. Sigur Ros Takk…
  5. Bright Eyes I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning and the other one whose name escapes me.
  6. Deerhoof The Runners Four
  7. Steve Malkmus Face the Truth
  8. Beck Guero

Other notables: Stereolab’s compilation, Belle & Sebastian’s compilation, Architecture in Helsinki, British Sea Power, I’ve heard some of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and it was good, Shout Out Louds, also Shout Out Louds and White Stripes. Aimee Mann, Mars Volta, and Death Cab for Cutie were disappointing.
