I’d love to see a video compilation of his ‘press conferences’ released on DVD with a timeframe of what the coaltion forces were doing at the time he says they were _not_ doing them. A split screen with video of some of the more blatant contradictions would be nice.🙂 For example: Mr. Information Minister saying, “There are no American troops in Bagdad.” with video of troops driving down Bagdad highways, touring the palaces or blowing up Sadaam’s statue. Because of work I have only seen parts of two conferences live and the clips on the news at night are just not enough. They are even better than the Allied press conferences during the first Gulf War were you could absoultely count on at least every other question being, “When is the war/air war/ground war going to start?” As if the American general holding briefings was actually going to tell them. Those reporters never gave up though. Persistant buggers.😛 I felt sorry for that General after a while. He was so patient with them everytime he said, “I can’t tell you.” That man really earned his pay. ---

A cartoon style, stealth tank that can creep around on tip toed tracks. I just really want to see a sort of Pantomime style “it’s behind you” episode while this guy’s doing his routine. Of course they’ll need to replace the main gun with an anvil firing device for true comedy, but I’m sure there’s a scientist out there somewhere up to the task. ---

SNL did a pretty good sketch about that at the time kind of like: General: Okay, you are free to ask questions but remember that I will not be giving out any sensitive information. Reporter #1: General. When are where are the American ground groups going to enter, and what tactics will they be using? General: That is a good example of sensitive information I am unable to give at the time: Reporter#2: General, What is the U.S. force’s greatest weekness, and how can the Iraqis best exploit that weekness? General: Okay, once again that falls into the area of information that is too sensitive to give out. ---

I love this guy. He is almost the herald to what the forces do next. I personally think they watch this meatball just to boink him a few times with some live camera feed opposing every freakin word he says. I expect a conference very soon with him standing over a ledge overlooking Bagdad professing “Iraqi victory” as you see a couple of Forces guys stop a tank behind him and moon for effect. Hell don’t kill this guy. Hire him as the GOP Spin Doctor! ---
