# I thought the modus operandi was to NOT call attention to banees. I’m sad I missed it. And also sad he got banned. Maybe I’ll pull a Simple Linctus and PM a mod to consider lifting the ban? I mean sure he was a spam peddler and all… but he did come back and respond to the thread at least a handful of times 🙂 ---

Marley, the reasons you’ve given for not doing things like this are good, and not making it a habit/pattern is excellent. I agree that because it’s kind of a random, infrequent thing, and the subject matter for this troll was particularly hilarious, that there was nothing wrong and that in the long run it’s not going to encourage more trolls. But I agree with your reasons for reversing the decision. Sometimes, we just can’t have nice things ☹ ---
