Unless your post is meant to be sarcastic, you may want to hold off on celebrating. The **Dark Shadows** movie has only mixed reviews and is considered a box office disappointment. In fact, if the receipts for this film drop off as much as they’re expected to this weekend,\*\* Dark Shadows\*\* may go from a mere disappointment to one of the biggest bombs of the summer. ---

(What is remarkable is I somehow remember posting the Dark Shadows thing.) I am looking forward to the remake of Fantastic Voyage that is sure to come. ---

Hollywood needs to be informed of my mailing address. No doubt they have had difficulty sending me the huge checks that are my due for predicting these things. ---

Shocked, shocked I am that the 16,784th Tim Burton/Johnny Depp dark-goth-weirdfest with Helena Bonham Carter isn’t blowing the box office records.
