So was I. 😃 I’ve seen you write articles on the SD Main Page. The way you Gatling-gun down trolls with silver bullets is also an impressive sight. The research you put into references, cites on other web pages, as well as in print and on TV/radio is also a thankless but admirable job. When you are doing those, I understand you are employed as Cecil’s proxy. But when you mod here, you are employed by the Teeming Millions, in the same way a Congressman works for his/her constituents. Thus, you ‘"work’ for the people of the State of Rhode Island." not the U.S. Government. That’s what still bothers me–who you’re working for at the time. But I have to give up on it, only because I’m not going to be around this weekend to keep it up. Not that it was an earthshattering point of contention, but a matter of protocol. Tripler Hell, I’d ask you to change my status to “Deployed” but that would open up a can of worms. ---

I _thought_ it was “Too Stupid for Words”, and I’m fairly certain it was a returning troll with the SN (in that particular incarnation) “2Sexy4MyComputer”. S/he was spotted fairly quickly and summarily banned. This would have been at least two years ago, I believe. ---

I believe that you’re correct on the username, at least. I remember that I was playing off of the 2/too usage in the name when I thought up the member status. Back in those days, I had to type BANNED in the status field manually, these days I just have to select the proper option from a pull-down menu. I can still make custom user titles, though. I got a Stern Talking To over the “ASSHAT” incident. However, I got the distinct impression that Tuba was giggling herself, even while she was chewing me out. If we ever go to a subscription basis (and don’t hold your breath), custom member titles might very well be part of the perks of being a member. The titles would have to be manually approved, and ASSHAT probably would not be an option. But I’m not supposed to give out custom member titles any longer. So, sorry, **Tripler** , I can’t mark you as “Deployed”. Well, not unless you really, really made it worth my while. I don’t know what my price is, but I’m sure I have one. Just start throwing money my way, and I’ll let you know when you’ve reached my price. 😃 Think of it as a secret reserve, just like in eBay. ---
