Well, when Cusack and Lizzie Caplan were sitting cross-legged on the counter, it looked an awful lot like _Sixteen Candles_. I loved the movie for what it was. My wife and I both did. And I thought one of the best jokes was in the credits. Cast credits roll, and then right at the end: And Introducing… William Zabka ---

Saw it this weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how not-bad it was 🙂 It was a pretty good mix of stupid-clever. Were the 80’s really that garishly horrible? > [@Taomist](#): > > 1. I watched John Cusack on Craig Ferguson this weekend (woohoo! There’s a mind picture!), and John didn’t seem terribly interested in promoting this movie. In fact, he didn’t seem very interested in it at all - it seems kind of like a, “Well, the mortgage is due - better do some work” kind of movie for him. I’ll probably end up seeing it after all - as a child of the 80’s, I’ll get most of the references, I imagine. ---
