# I tried Coke Energy drink

Seems to be Coke’s answer to Red Bull type drinks. I tried the zero sugar version and it tasted OK, mostly like diet coke. They add guarana and extra caffeine to it. I guess the guarana gives it a different taste. Anyone else try the regular version , not the zero version?

I’ve tried the normal version. It’s not horrible, but not great. Can’t imagine it being successful.

It didn’t taste like Coke to me; it tasted more like RC with a small but definite medicinal aftertaste.

If I want Coke, I’ll drink Coke. If I want an energy drink, I think there’s plenty of better options.
