Piercings I understand - tattoos can be really cool. I have a friend with a stretched ear lobe. All fine with me - no problem. But this?

In the eye? \<\\> My mom had corneal replacement surgery and her stitches just wigged me out. But to put charms on your eye?

I think that piercings and tattoos are disgusting. They are done by people with self-esteem issues and IMNSHO, they detract from appearance, not add.

Then perhaps the people who have them are wanting you to move on to those who are more in line with your way of thinking. It’s a really effective way to get across the concept of ‘Move along, nothing to see here…’ without actually having to pay attention to someone that would inevitably treat you with disdain because your markings didn’t betray those thoughts and words which would simply cause problems down the line anyways.
Now I love my tattooes and piercings even more. Not only do they adorn me and represent my aesthetic perspective, they’re repellant for those who make knee jerk critical statements with no basis in fact.

It creeps me out too. I’ve had stitches in my eye (conjunctiva) and it was a terrible experience. I don’t want anything in or around my eyes.
