Before a mod closes this (at **Jodi** ’s request), I just want to thank **Jodi** for her reply to my question regarding community . It was clear, unemotional, and possibly more complete than my question merited, and I understand the OP much better as a consequence.

Good model for a GD reply, I think.

I wouldn’t call that person a moron. I’d just say that such a person may have unrealistic expectations of what GD is, or maybe a little oblivious to how the world actually works (regarding the billions of worldviews out there held by individuals).
