Thankfully mine doesn’t do that, although it is liable to stop responding half way through a print, usually half way through printing a photograph and only changing the cartridge seems to have any effect on it. Damn Epson!
It’s also started to do the “I want to take more than one sheet at once if you don’t mind” routine. Which is also annoying.
** whuckfistle**, thanks for the link. I did not know that but after thinking about it I believe my Canon S450 does not do that when printing strictly in Black. I still think the ink is being flushed in all those cleaning cycles (or maybe it is, in fact, being stolen by a hacker through the Internet).
