If we are talking a focus 100% on tutorial (vs. entertaining and educating) I liked that clip I posted to - with the Pic-in-Pic shot of the picking hand and a close-up of the strum hand - very helpful.

I was never a huge fan, but after hearing it on the radio (and thinking, Hmm, that might be interesting) I hunted down the tab for Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain,” and it’s an interesting little guitar part. Very Richard Thompson-y when you play it solo but not that difficult.
Fwiw, I tried this over the weekend - at least getting a moving bassline going while I used my middle and ring fingers on my picking hand to pluck chords while I flatpicked the bass notes. Incredibly cool - a new level of coordination. Very much one of those “riding the bike with no training wheels” moments. I even got a few lead fills in and got back to the rhythm intact!
