# I want DVDs with Chuck Jones's Bugs Bunny shorts from the 50's. Where to look?

Title says it all, I guess. I love the animation and drawing style of that era. I’m thinking of shorts in style of [What’s Opera, Doc?](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Whats_Opera_Doc_still.png) and other high lights.
Recommendations, anyone?

There are definitely two DVD box sets called “Looney Tunes Golden Collection” volumes 1 & 2. If they’ve put out a third one, I haven’t bought it yet. We had to wait a long time to get them on DVD, but they’re out there now.

They have. All three volumes are essential, IMHO.

That Golden collection vol. 2 seems to be just the thing for me. Possibly even more than Bugs Bunny I enjoy Road Runner and Marvin the Martian. It seems this is the DVD collection to get.
Though… It’s kinda pricey, isn’t it?

Yeah, but if you’ve got a five year old who likes to pretend he’s Arthur Davis, and grumble about working for that jerk Leon Schlesinger, it’s worth every penny.
