Puir wee thing! Come let me take care of you, there’s a girl. Now, you sit right here on this soft comfy couch, here’s a blanket in case your feet get cold. You just sit quiet whilst I mix up some fresh chicken soup and some tea. Here though, have some of these chocolates I keep just for such emergencies, let’s see, there be rum balls, and chocolate rasberry truffles, oh, and a bit of that heavenly dark chocolate. And don’t worry about the bairns, I’ve shuttled them off to the neighbors to spend the evening. Oh, and here is the remote for the tele and some nice bodice ripper romance novels. ---

::stands very far away from **FCM** :: Summer colds are, indeed, the worst. I’m currently trying like hell to avoid one **virtee** has, but I feel my resistance weakening! That and he’s so damn cute I can’t stay away from him. So get Mr. Fairy Chat Dad to pamper you, and take a raincheck on the inlaws. You’re sick! ---

Oh, you poor sweet thing. Slide into this nice hot bubble bath, inhale deeply of the steam and scented water and you’ll feel better in no time. I’ll just go clean the cat box and run a few loads of laundry while you’re in there. ---

Get drunk as a skunk on tequila and orange juice. It’ll knock the cold right out of you. Honest. Well, at least you won’t be able to tell if you have a cold or a week-long hangover. And this way, at least you had one fun night of drinking. 🙂 ---

I do thank one and all for the pity. We just returned from Sarasota and I’m still snuffly and icky and coffing… and on top of all that, we didn’t go to the Florida Aquarium because the line was too long. Pretty crummy weekend… I suspect I’m suffering from a chocolate imbalance… Do continue to pity me - I’m still sick enough to be a pity whore… \ ---
