Today I came home to England after a two week holiday in Sicily. It isn’t until you go away that you really appreciate what you have at home. You’re right, Britain is a great place. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. ---

I wanna be British, simply because I love the culture across the pond we call the Atlantic Ocean. I have never been there _sigh_ but once I get older I am planning on spending a summer there or something thru the school. Going to a rich and large school has it’s benefits. If I like it, when I get older I may join you U.K. Dopers over there. ---

I admire England. I’m told my forefathers came from there. I’m uncomfortable, though, with a country where the leaders claim to revere both Reagan and Bush v.43. I guess they do here, too, so maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Egad. ---

I love going to the UK for holidays- particularly Scotland. But it is expensive to live- the price of petrol is really something else. And they can’t play cricket for crap. But- I did enjoy the darts tournaments on television. 🙂 ---
