Despite the OP’s kind of dream state posting, I agree. It’s a song that evokes a pleasant vision. I could handle the patchouli, just for the opportunity. I could have lived Hollywood Nights. iw as a “Midwestern boy on his own”, and hooked up with a rich girl. But I kept myself grounded. I missed the high, but I missed the getting dumped unceremoniously, too. ---
