# I want to buy a scooter

As a former scooter shop owner, I think everyone should have one. I love my Yukon, but I dont need it 80% of the time. I still have a Malaguti Phantom and a Malaguti Yesterday. Both are 50cc, and get 70 mpg.
Under no circumstances get a chinese made scooter. I’m on my iPad so I can’t type the 14 pages of reasons, but just know they are dangerous beyond compare.
Honda, Aprilia, Kymco, Vespa, and Genuine are the only brands worth considering today.
There are other good brands, but none with support in the U.S.
