I want to go to a Depeche Mode concert, but not if Dave Gahan is not there. (duh!)
Scratch that. I want to go to a Depeche Mode concert, but I’m not paying $500 for good seats.

The Who haven’t been the Who since Moonie died. I haven’t seen Pete on stage but would love to, but I’d prefer a solo concert, not what today counts as a “Who” concert.
I saw VH when Gary Cherone was their singer. I will not see them again unless Mikey is back in the band.
if I remember correctly wham was touring and neither George nor Andrew was involved when George passed on …… and I was like …. why ?
could you imagine kiss with out gene and paul? I know for a while it was just gene and hired guns and im told it was okish ……
Rush without Neil Peart or Geddy Lee would be unthinkable.
I wouldn’t care too much if Lifeson were replaced…
Kamelot without Roy Khan. I almost considered going to one of their concerts, and then I remember Roy had left the band, and he was the main reason I liked them.
I would only consider seeing Yes if it was Jon Anderson singing and Steve Howe on guitar. Seeing as those two are now in completely separate bands that happen to use the name “Yes”, I won’t be seeing either of them.
Ain’t Pixies if Kim’s not there.
Probably wouldn’t see Drive-By Truckers without Cooley.
It’s not Yes without Steve Howe. Sorry.
He has a very similar singing voice to his father…
I want to go to the Guns N Roses concert, but not if Buckethead isn’t there.
Me too.
I like the rest of the band well enough, but the highlight of the one concert of theirs I went to was when Lindsay got his spotlight time and wailed away and ROCKED for about 20 minutes or so.
Best part of the whole concert.
Iron Maiden without Bruce Dickenson. (Sorry, Blaze).
I saw Fleetwood Mac without Buckingham sometime in the late 80s/early 90s, and it wasn’t a terrible show, but there was something very obviously missing. I get that there was a Fleetwood Mac before he got there, but there no longer really is without him, IMO.
That’s pretty much exactly what I came in here to say.
You gotta be kidding. I’m very sad he passed, but I was tired of watching Steely Dan live while Becker complained about the Reagan years… in 1994, '99…
One of the most brilliant musicians and arrangers ever. But live isn’t missed. (And I’m a huge Danhead) He was like Syd Barret towards the end. Or Brian Wilson. It seemed like his handler was the Dan lineup, but when he got the microphone, I felt sorry.
