So, just for jollies I did the vanity search that **COM2Kid** suggested, and one of the first sites that came up was entitled “can you pass the 8th grade?” from some other forum. The debate was actually about standardized testing and the like, but given the incoherent gibberish of the OP, I thought that it was hilarious! ---

First off, you have to question the motives of those who supposedly “found” those boards (have you even checked???) and then look at the context where the code is actually used. It doesn’t even take much skill to realize that the vb code was added _much_ later on, if not at the time of “discovery” itself. You need to do some research before you can move out of the sandbox. ---

As for the motive of those who found it, it was discovered by a hardcore computer scientist who was looking to prove that HTML and VB did not exist at the same time. His life was forever changed by the discovery, although he was thereafter shunned by the computer scientific comunity. He now knows the inner peace and freedom, and you can too, Opal, if you just open your heart to the truth, and it will set you free. ---

FUCK I am embarrassed by most of you and pissed off–nice “Welcome to the Boards!” Alright, the OP was confusing, but obviously **Com2** does not like drugs and he was making a case against them. But 2 fucking pages of 95% “Dude, you must be high” comments. You know, I know this is the Pit, and his OP was placed appropriately, but I don’t think a pile-on comparing him to the very thing he is ranting about is appropriate. NOT. AT. ALL. How about just letting him rant, he wasn’t abusing any of you? Or at least try to address his points–he has tried to make them–that’s obvious… I am ashamed… **Com2** Welcome to the boards where if you don’t rant concisely and make salient points (judged by people who’s standards may be a bit too high and mighty) you get picked on and if you don’t spend 5 hours making sure that you have pretty post you get degraded.
