**Male or Female?** Female **How do you choose your shampoo?** After spending enough time in the pool, I have decided _never_ to use shampoo that makes your hair smell when it gets wet. If the person next to you in the pool lane can smell what type of shampoo you use, it hasn’t been rinsed out of your hair. Pert/Prell is particularly bad at this. I use Aussie now, and it’s okay. **How many times a week do you shampoo your hair?** Every day, or my very fine hair will get greasy. **If you floss your teeth, do you do it before brushing or after?** After. **In the morning, do you brush your teeth before breakfast or after?** Don’t brush my teeth at breakfast. \*\*Do you have any special knowledge of hygiene that you think most people are ignorant about? \*\* Keep your toothbrush as far away from your toilet as possible. But then again, most people at the Dope know about that 😉 ---

**Male or Female?** Female **How do you choose your shampoo?** A good product that helps my stupid frizz. **How many times a week do you shampoo your hair?** Usually every other day, sometimes more. **If you floss your teeth, do you do it before brushing or after?** Before **In the morning, do you brush your teeth before breakfast or after?** Before, but it would probably be smarter to do it after, because first of all, food tastes like crap if the toothpaste taste is still in your mouth. Also it probably would have more point to brush your teeth _after_ you get the food in your mouth. \*\*Do you have any special knowledge of hygiene that you think most people are ignorant about? \*\* Don’t think so. ---

Immediately after peeing, which I do first thing in the morning Do you have any special knowledge of hygiene that you think most people are ignorant about? Um, I also brush my tongue. A tongue scraper seems icky to me, though. And apparently, you’re supposed to get a new toothbrush after you’ve been sick. ---

In the morning, do you brush your teeth before breakfast or after? Immediately after peeing, which I do first thing in the morning. But I also brush them before I leave for work, again. And often when I come home from work. And sometimes at lunchtime. This is to make up for brushing for the less-than-recommended-two-minutes you’re supposed to spend on one’s teeth. I’d be up for a bidet, but one wouldn’t fit in either of our bathrooms. I shower daily, sometimes again after work or if I do something like gardening, where I get sweaty. Sometimes I’ll take a shower before bed if I don’t feel like bending over the sink to wash my face, or to relax me, if looks like a nooky night, or if TMI alert I have my period END TMI. \. I rarely go to bed for the night without washing my face and brushing my teeth and applying moisturizer to my hands and face. I use a pumice on my heels about once a week and use something to exfoliate occasionally in the shower, then use body lotion. I really notice a difference with skin softness/smoothness, but I’m lax about it. ---

If I’m planning on investing an hour in straightening my hair, I use the ‘Smooth and Sleek’ Pantene; otherwise I use the ‘Hydrating Curls’ version. They smell nice and work pretty well. How many times a week do you shampoo your hair? Twice. If you floss your teeth, do you do it before brushing or after? Before. Otherwise the stuff you loosen when you floss doesn’t get brushed away. In the morning, do you brush your teeth before breakfast or after? After. Who wants to walk around with milk breath all day? ---

How many times a week do you shampoo your hair? 7, i.e. once a day. If you floss your teeth, do you do it before brushing or after? Before. In the morning, do you brush your teeth before breakfast or after? After. Do you have any special knowledge of hygiene that you think most people are ignorant about? Vaseline is wonderful in small doses for badly craked skin. Neosporin applied to zits at night and covered with a band-aid works wonders. Tongue scraping several times a day will shorten the duration of a cold significantly. ---

Female I use Pantene something about no- frizz shampoo and conditioner. About every other day, or every two. I have waist-length hair. It doens’t need washing as often as short hair. When I remember to floss, before. After. Not really. Nope, can’t think of anything. ---

A shot glass works really well for this - fill shot glass w/ salty water, tip head sideways onto glass so it’s edges are flush w/ your skin, then you can stand straight up (while holding the glass, of course). The water will stay on the pimple, and it’s less messy than a big glass. I learned this trick from the guy who pierced my belly button, as he recommended a sea-salt soak for it. ---

Male. I buy the Walgreen’s version of the shampoo plus conditioner because it’s a bargain. I wash my hair every day. I floss my teeth as necessary. I see the dentist regularly, but I haven’t brushed my teeth in 30+ years (and my teeth are fine, thank you).
