Of course some doctors are better than others. Why does that mean I shouldn’t go to the doctor when I’m seriously ill? Isn’t that what doctors are for, treating serious medical problems?
Right whoosh, wrong poster.
Preggers! Was she preggers? Make sure you say “preggers” when you answer, whether in the affirmative or negative.
Appendicitis?
If my tool is a hammer, can I apply it directly to the forehead of those snake-oil salesmen whose homeopathic headache “remedy” commercials instantly induce migraines?

(Oops. There was another page to this. Ignore it)
I get that, actually. However, the active ingredient in homeopathic remedies is really the bullshit. That’s how you get credulous dupes to pay money for it. The water is only a delivery vehicle for the bullshit.
Not preggers, not appendicitis. But definitely something that percoset is not the cure for.
Really bad gas?
Ah, I see your point. Mine was that water is the only ingredient. But water with a great memory, mind you.
I suppose it makes as good a placebo as anything, though.
I was responding to this. You’re saying moms should seek only advice from doctors. My point is that doctors are not all equally skilled at curing what ails you. Sometimes their cure, the “standard of care”, sucks.
If the mother in the OP is adding homeopathic remedies to her toolkit, she might be doing exactly the right thing for her child.
I also have several friends who told me that their kids’ asthma was relieved by seeing a chiropractor. It seems odd to me, but they’re telling me it worked. Jackmaniik’s friend’s parents didn’t necessarily err by trying it, but they did err by not continuing to search for a solution that DID address the problem.
Yours also had the advantage of being funny. And clever. Mine was just… bullshit.
Sounds like opiate addiction/withdrawal syndrome to me.
How about gallstones?
Another physician gave me pain relievers and a pamphlet on depression as her solution to that problem. Two years (and much pain) later, I finally had the right diagnosis. And surgery.
Ulcer?
You’re so close I’ll have to give it to you.
It was extreme constipation. Percoset can cause your bowels to stop moving, so it’s exactly the wrong medication.
Thanks, but I can’t claim full credit. I had to visit a DHMO site for inspiration.
Gunshot?
Percoset overdose?
