# I was on MotorMouth on VH1

First, I’m sorry to hear that. I watched the show with my husband the other night and, my god, VH1 isn’t just scaping the bottom of the barrel but has gone and removed the bottom and is now scraping the ground upon which the barrel stood.
Second, how do they pull off the show? Do they give a car equipped with XM to people to drive around for a few hours?
That fat, black lady that one the episode I watched has got to be the most ANNOYING woman on the face of the earth. Ever. I can’t believe poor sod actually married her!

Hey it’s not that bad. I get another 15 minutes of fame and I had a good time. Let them poke fun at me. It doesn’t bother me at all. Let me tell you how it worked at least for my show.
I was “invited” by a friend to do a market research survey. At the hotel they gave me a CD and said we want you to listen to this while driving this car. Take it out for 30-40 minutes then come back. They told me they were doing the same thing for my friend.
in the car I knew something was up because the air freshner in the vent looked a little strange like the kind a camera would be in.
The dash was covered in carpet which I thought was strange but I figured something was under it.
They had a notepad on the window that had post it notes with a pinhole in it, again where a camera could be held.
I thought it was just to get my reactions to the songs, many of which I did not like. I had NO IDEA they it was being filmed for a TV Show until they told me at the “ambush”
I didn’t see the eposide you talked about only my Eposide New Brunsiwck/Some other town

I heard that too :eek: I thought I must have misheard it, glad to see others heard it, too! Thought for a moment I might have a dirty mind (and I was so proud of myself). ☹
I saw this tonight and just died laughing. Dancing Queen, what a classic! Glad to see you won, Manny, we worried that Chrome would get it with his fancy dancing and all, but no way! I think it was the fact that you maintained your dignity by not touching yourself to the Madonna song 😃

I saw about 10 minutes of this show and was disgusted by how deliberately mean and hurtful the voiceover was. Did they at least pay you?

And here I was soooo looking forward to maybe meeting you one day. My husband thinks he’s lucky. I think he’s crazy.
No, that’s not really me. I can’t drive and I don’t karate chop myself in the neck, but yeah, I’m that loud and annoying. And big.
I didn’t see you’re show MannyL. I’ll catch it later, I’m sure they’’ play it a time or ten.

Yes both myself and the person who got me on the show were paid $50.00 Not alot for how much they are making off of us but thats the way the industry goes.
