No, loud exhuast. You can read in the OP that the muffler is in my trunk, so it is deathly quiet. The cop that pulled me over may have been being anal, but he was doing his job. It’s a small town and the police get bored. Were I in a big city, I probably would have been left alone. I just wonder how loud a four cylinder front-wheel drive 1986 Olds Cutlass Sierra can be without a muffler. Certainly quieter than the sweet eight cylinder 1979 Chevy Impala I used to have, if it didn’t have a muffler, but it does.

BTW, I got everything I need for exhuast from the catalytic converter back for under $70 
. I can’t wait to put it on. Really. I want to know how to replace as many different car parts as possible.
