I liked the little scene at the end of the 1957 film because it was a good example of how fleeting jury service is. You can get into a fairly intense emotional debate with someone you’ve never met and then when it’s all over, you just part ways and you likely never see that person again and can barely remember the names.
I haven’t seen the movie but I have seen it on stage. It was done locally, and due to lack of enought good male actors it was actually done as “12 Angry Jurors” and it worked very well. It was a while ago so I can’t remember exactly which ones were played as women.
