It depends. Does Darth Vader know what hangar the Millenium Falcon is in? And does he always offer to switch hangars?
Is Vader on a speeder? On an anti-gravity treadmill?
The missing dollar.
The thing to remember, is that there is no Millennium Falcon.
They weren’t trying to get the Aluminum Falcon when they attempted to go through the first door, because they figured the Empire would have been smart enough to confiscate it, so they tried to get onto a different platform and steal another ship. When they realized that R2 couldn’t get the door open, they said “ah, to hell with it, let’s just check - Oh my freakin God! they left it here!”
A [del]wizard[/del] Jedi did it.
Shouldn’t R2D2 have been able to tell what he was sticking his parts into? Especially since he used a completely different tool the second time.
The first door led to some lifts that came up directly under the Falcon. The lifts were used by maintenance crews for direct access to the ship. No need to push an entire tool chest across the pedestrian walkway. The equipment and tools are kept under the landing deck. Lando thought this would be a safer way to get into the ship to avoid a shootout on the open deck. Seeing this way was blocked he took the alternative and hand to cross the open runway.
(I completely pulled this out of my arse but it sounds good to me).
That’s what she said…
Works for me! I don’t even remember that scene.
My new life goal is to watch a movie with PSXer and his friend. How can I make this happen?
What, you’ve never stuck an ethernet cable into a 110V power socket?
where do you live? maybe we can meet up sometime to experience laserdiscs
That’s no subsitute for the real thing.
Sometimes a substitute is better than the real thing…
Is that the tagline for a Belushi movie?
A Jim Belushi movie, though, not a John Belushi movie.
Well, I think it’s just nice that PSXer is checking out the lesser known works of Irvin Kershner.
