I think this is the kind of attitude that some people are taking issue with. The idea that if you don’t like this movie, you must be a moron who only likes Michael Bay movies.
It depends how you read Shakester’s post. Is he saying it’s a reason people don’t like it, or the reason. The former is perfectly reasonable. I know quite a few people who have very narrow tastes in films and books, but that doesn’t make them morons.

Maybe people “get it” and still think it’s a bad movie.
I watched it a couple times, and I suppose you can count me in amongst those who don’t get it. To me, it was people doing random things for unclear reasons.
Beautifully shot though.
TWBB brilliantly achieves the melding of the worst movie ever made with the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Forget the director’s cut. Release the audience cut. It’d be the first 15 minutes.
