# I will be represented in Congress by a person who actually lives in my district (FL-11)

For the first time ever I will be represented in Congress by someone who lives in my district.

It’s the same dude, of course. Daniel Webster has represented me since I was a kid, but never meets with constituents or hosts town halls. Possibly because a) he doesn’t live in the district he serves, and b) he doesn’t think it’s important to interact with constituents.

On the other hand there’s a _chance_ he’ll be unseated. Not likely by the [Democratic or NPA no-names](https://www.fec.gov/data/elections/house/FL/11/2022/), but by extremist, conspiracist, _InfoWars_ contributor, Islamophobe, carpetbagger, and MAGA-head [Laura Loomer](https://www.orlandosentinel.com/opinion/scott-maxwell-commentary/os-prem-op-laura-loomer-daniel-webster-scott-maxwell-20210914-lvw24gaks5anddenpxm4yj46um-story.html). She seems to have a larger war chest, all of it from outside this district, which she recently moved to. She may be morally destitute, but at least she’s not afraid of facing her constituents.

I will be voting for Webster this August, but honestly both candidates suck. Both of them will live in the newly redrawn district. At least that will give me some consolation.
