Update: apparently, while walking past the window, I slipped through the doctor’s fingers and shot out the window. Luckily, the afterbirth filled up like a balloon and I floated gently down into a crowd of judges that were gathering for a class reunion and I ended up in the background of their group picture as well as about 75 photos taken by bystanders of the event, which was also covered by 5 network news teams with the Governor in attendance. Then, a truck hit a little girl, so the police had to canvass everybody present (about 200 people) and every single witness report began with, “We were watching the baby floating down from the hospital when…” And of course, the police attached my footprint to every single one of the witness reports because at that time, they used baby footprints instead of notary stamps. And then, I landed in some wet sidewalk cement so my body imprint is still there. The afterbirth landed in the cement and nobody ever took it out so I suppose it’s still in the sidewalk as well along with a piece of my umbilical cord. ---

My husband is in the same boat. Actually, he’s in the McCain boat, since not only does he only have a State Department issued Certificate of Live Birth, he was born to U.S. Citizen parents on FOREIGN SOIL! Imagine the scandal. (I do think it funny that the GOP candidate actually had MORE questions regarding eligibility - not that I personally believe McCain to have been ineligible). My son though, is simply ineligible. International adoptee. ---

I don’t want to be President; my goal is to simply change my address on my Florida Drivers License which was issued to me on 31Jan2005 WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED when I surrendered my Kentucky driver’s license. Now, I have to prove who I am by taking with me my current US passport (I have no idea where my birth certificate is), and two pieces of paper verifying my new residential address; I have a payment book for my Condo Association fees and my first electric service bill. Proving that I am legally eligible to be President could hardly be more difficult than changing my address. I am grateful that my government is concerned with my safety and well being. ---
