# I wish google would quit fucking telling me to call 988 each time I do a search for anything controversial

FWIW, I just searched this exact same sentence today. ‘can trazodone stop a bad lsd trip’

No 988 warning message, no audio message telling me to call for help.

The 988 number is important and people should know about it, but I’m glad google is learning that they aren’t really advertising it well. I’m guessing they’ve got a ton of feedback in the last few months from multiple people asking them to change how they advertise this number.

Yup. And you shouldn’t be speaking aloud to your phone in places like a library where it’s rude for it to reply audibly.
