We apparently had stormpocalypse last night although there wasn’t much evidence of it in my neck of the woods. I had no trouble getting to irk today, more’s the pity, if all the trains had been cancelled then I could have stayed at home. Instead, it’s bright and sunny out there, looks quite lovely from my window and since the storm has passed, I suspect it will turn out to be a very nice day. And I am stuck in the office. Other than that, just another zombie-infestation-free day. Nope, nothing to see here. Move along, please. ---

I met **Moooooooom** this morning on our respective ways to irk. She had some parts bins from her cleanup project she gave me for VWife’s use. So, we’re in the parking lot of a gas station, I took the bins from her, then got a hug. Then she bit me. SOMEONE is taking this zombie thing waaaay too seriously. 😉 ---

Happy Moonday! I be happy in Moondays because when I scheduled irk I took Moonday mornings off. Of course it means I have to work in the evenings, but being able to give a big one finger salute to Moonday morning and roll over and go back to sleep is worth it. It’s a nippy 34 degrees outside with a projected high of 65. I have my window open this am because _somebody_ around here who thinks the AC should be set at 68 (when we are wearing shorts and shirts) thinks the heat should be set on 78 when we are wearing long pants and sweaters. {{ **{Moldy** }}} ---

The coffee lady made my Mocha wrong and I didn’t notice til I took a sip three miles away from the store. Traffic sucked. My secretary aka: Trusty Sidekick is out sick today. I’m off to a morning full 'o meetings. I have to be here late tonight - after 5:30, when I arrived before 6. Must be Monday. ☹ ---

Speaking of coffee woes, my preferred drink is a skim caramel latte which at the Bou and Fishlady is a nice hot milky coffee with just a bit of sweetness. (I have been on a truly extensive journey to find the One True Syrup Flavor.) I went to Panera yesterday and ordered my usual and it was toothachingly sweet. I don’t know if they use a different syrup or twice the amount or what but it was horrible and I was so sad. Moldy, I hate getting up too. ---
