Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and well, already caffienated and brekkied. I did that and then went back to bed for a bit. 'Tis 52 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 77 for the day. Nice! Today is [National Deviled Aig Day](http://eatocracy.cnn.com/2012/11/02/national-deviled-egg-day/), so go celebrate. I have a dozen and a half aigs boiled and coolin’ as I post. I shall make deviled aigs to take to First Sunday Brunch over to the church house tomorrow, hence the dozen aigs. I shall also make some for consumption today at da cave so we can celebrate the holiday on the proper day, hence the half dozen aigs. 😃 Ok, that’s all I got. Really. Makin’ deviled aigs is the big thing on today’s agenda. Happy Sattiday Y’all! ---

Happy Saturday! I need more sleep. If I am going to cut loose it should be in a week with no petsitting. I have no idea of the temp outside because my phone is a day behind and in the wrong town. My phone is getting on my nerves. I’m not getting voice mails right away, it’s sending some callers straight to VM with logging the call, I sent a HB text to a friend on Monday and he got it on Thursday (although that could be his phone not mine). I need to get up and get moving, got doggies to let out and feed. My eyes are burning, my head is hurting and my tummy is hungry. I have to call my friend and see if she still wants to do something, probably lunch. Maybe we’ll all met in the middle somewhere but I’ll still have a long drive and have to go through the tunnel. I need some friends who live on this side of town. ---

**sari** if you have to tunnel to see your friends, then you definitely need some closer by friends. 😃 **midget** if you need aigs to make the cookies I can see the connection. If you don’t need aigs to make the cookies then the connection could be you need to go in the kitchen and turn on the stove to make cookies. See, it works! ---

**Swampy** how do you make cookies on top the stove? No go on the lunch today, my friend is not feeling well. The other friend is going to do yard irk since it is so nice today. I am going to irk, I need to make up for last week’s tiny paycheck. Then I have to go back out to feed the doggies. They have the nicest cat. If only he wouldn’t want to touch noses and then flip around so I can smell his butt. At least when he asks for scritches he really want them, unlike other cats who just pretend to want them so they can nip your fingers. ---

I didn’t go to the show today. Walking from the bedroom to the family room was an effort and my arms were weak. I feel bad about missing it, but I sent an email and it’s not any big deal for them, I’m just out the $50. Since then I’ve taken a nap and started working on homework. ---

Break time! I’ve planted almost half of the remaining pachysandra. Don’t know if I’ll finish it all, but I hope to get most of it into the ground. I do have a spot where I can dump what remains, put dirt on top of it, and I figure at least some of it will root and grow. \*\*FCD \*\*is enroute to dealing with his crabber. He’ll be making a stop on the way home and should be back by 3, at which point he’ll want some help from me. I figure I’ll be ready to quit by then, so that’s good. I hope I have another 90 minutes in me… The weather is gorgeous and perfect for planting. I wish I’d watered the hill yesterday - the area I’m working now is dust dry. It’ll get a good soaking when I finish today - at least 2 hours, maybe more. Higgs has been running around the back yard, barking at cars and pedestrians, getting herself good and tired. Which is good - maybe she’ll sleep in tomorrow… maybe… Gonna surf for a few more minutes, then head back out and finish up. Before all the fresh air and exercise kicks my butt… ---

**Swampy** since you like em’, I will tell one from the olden days, tis one of my personal faves. When I was living in Dallas, latter part of the last millennium, I was working at a live music joint in Deep Ellum a club district. IIRC it was Texas/OU weekend and the drunks were out early. Early in the evening before dark, four young men found themselves sitting on the curb, in handcuffs because the had been fighting in the pool hall next door. There are five DPD officers there debating the fates of the young men, one of the officers was a tiny woman about 5’2"/157cm and 110lbs/50kg, it is pretty obvious that the young men in question are about to be let go. We are observing all this from our patio. ::informational note about handcuffs for those who have never had the “opportunity” to wear them. Handcuffs restrict the more than the movement of your arms, it is hard to get up, walk or run because you use your arms for balance. Clasp your hands together behind your back and try it.:: So, the idiot closest to us realizes that the Cops are not watching them as they are talking to each other and I see the wheels turning in his mind, he starts to move… He is up and running across the street before the Cops notice Officer in charge gives the “nod” to the tiny Police Woman and she catches the idiot in the middle of the street Nightstick comes out at amazing speed and takes out the knees of the idiot, leaving him hanging in the air ala Wiley E. Coyote, but funnier as he is handcuffed and sorta flopping instead of flailing. Gravity is present on this particular day and the inevitable happens, the idiot strikes the asphalt just as tiny ninja police woman’s knee makes contact with the back of his neck. I think he would have hit the ground less hard if they threw him off a two story building. I cannot describe the sound his impact made but even the other cops were stunned. After the collective “OOOH” wore off and the gales of laughter came rolling in, she sorta wrestles him up off the pavement and brings him back to the curb. The idiot, now wearing the shame of having his a\*\* handed to him by tiny cop ninja woman, a face veil of rocks from the street and some very sore knees gets the further indignity being rolled, and having his ankles cuffed to his hands and being left face down on the sidewalk. His “transport” arrives and our young hero, as he is being loaded up, sees his compatriots being un-cuffed and sent on their way, with no more than a stern talking to. The look on his face was priceless. **Jim** ---

I quit. Or rather, my back quit. I barely had another hour in me. So the sprinkler is giving my new plantages a drink, the remaining bags of pachysandra also got a good soaking, and I just popped some naproxen, since it’s supposed to be super-good for pain. We shall see. My sweetie should be on his way home since his crabber supposedly came in at 2. I need a shower, but I need to rest and rehydrate more. I’m thinking supper might be along the lines of leftovers - \*\*FCD \*\*has ziti from yesterday and there are several containers in the fridge - I may be able to make a meal of what’s there. Or I’ll have a sammich. Either way. ---

OYKW brought me a KitKat from the sto’ just cause. AWWWWWW!!! Ok, he went to the sto’ because he was appalled, _appalled_ I tell you, at the lack of Yuengling in da cave even though there is other beer. Still he got me a KitKat. Reckon I’ll keep him around for a while longer. **Jim** HEE! Let us hope he has never jumped into the gene pool. Idjit! The kind that makes Jachass look smart. He did one good thing, however. He gave his buddies a great story to tell. 😃 I was just out on the back porch. There are little lizards everywhere. I counted fifteen of the little critters. I’ve never seen that many before. Guess it was a good year for lizard procreation. ---
