The wind gods trumped the fishing gods today. After the third incident of my cast getting blown into a tree instead of the water, I packed it in and went home. I was eating brekkies by 0800… ☹ ---

Soon my fridge and freezer will be full again. I’m mad at onions right now. I love onions, but I can’t chop them because of the whole eye-watering issue. Glasses protect you from NOTHING. Even chopping them in the food processor doesn’t help because I get hit with onion scent in my eyes as soon as I open it up. I blew my nose so many times I was almost getting sick from it. On the other hand, I know I won’t be getting a sinus infection any time soon! ---

Cake is done, frosted, and housed in the cake carrier that I won in a cake decorating contest when I was in high school. Soup is simmering - I’ll add N.O.T.s to it soon. And I just started up a loaf of white bread in the bread machine. Supper will be yum. We just had a couple of JW’s come to the door, but all they did was give my sweetie a tract, then leave. Very odd. My sweetie gave me the tract with one of Mitch Hedberg’s lines: “Here, you throw this away!” I was amazed that they had such a simple approach. Amazed, and glad, altho I did let the Birthday Boy handle it. 😃 Speaking of the Birthday Boy, we had to run to Lowe’s this morning and we stopped at Burger King for a quick breakfast. Without asking or even knowing it existed, we got the Senior Discount! 😃 That white beard is worth $$$$!!! 😃 ---

Afternoon all! I was supposed to be going to the uni circus club today- the first time since it restarted after the summer that I’m not working, but I didn’t finish work til 2 am last night, so went to bed about the time Higgs got up, then managed to oversleep badly enough to miss a 2pm start… Well, sort of. I was up before then, but I needed to go shopping (the supermarkets are only open til 4 on sundays here), as I had no food, and there wasn’t time to do both. I’m still not wholly awake, and it’s after 6.30pm. I am at least makin’ myself do some craft stuff, as there’s now less than a month before the Christmas market starts, and I didn’t manage to make anything for the stall I’m supposed to be on in the last month, and I’ve really not got enough stuff ready for it to be worthwhile at the moment. _yaaawn_ ---

Howdy Y’all! After a very loooooooooooong deheathenization and brunch I had a nappy poo. I was tahrd and sinuses are ick so it just seemed like the thing to do. There was a very jazzy postlude by our pianist, organist and a trumpet player of “When The Saints Go Marchin’ In.” Really cool! 🆒 That is the big excitatement at da cave. ---
